The existing U-shaped house was integrated with an extension to the central area to form a modern living space, with plenty of natural light through skylights. A new layered flat roof replaced the old, to utilise the existing skeleton of the structure and create an economic design, while precise detailing conceals the structural connections to create a clean aesthetic.
